Just thought I would share this for anyone who would want a more objective way to tension the timing belt. My Bentley (Stock #VG-92) shows the VW tool VW210 being used but this is essentially the same design. There are a lot of cheaper versions of this on Ebay.
This tool could be used to give the belt an initial set and then give the it the "twist" test. I think this would be a good starting point for those of us who have never done this procedure for this critical tension setting.
