Post by: sethyboy85 on April 11, 2006, 05:21:42 pm
I am going to be dropping an eco motor in my car (hopefully next weekend) with a FN tranny and was wondering what was out there or should I stay away from or get?

I plan to make it a TD, IC it add fuel and air (15ish probably)

if you upgrade to a 210mm,,,,,make sure to re-mark the  tdc mark cast in the flywheel ,,it wont/doesnt match anymore,,,,,make a piston stop, its sorta hard in a prechamber engine,,but,,,i stuffed a piece of stainless safetywire in,w/the injector out,, turn back+forth as fw. is marked, split the difference, etc,,,the  orig.mark is at least 1 inch off,,so its no big deal ya think, right now,,,,,have fun when it comes time to do a timing belt  ,you will be screwed,,,,,so remark the tdc mark on those 210 mm flywheels,if used on a diesel,,,,,,i did like the centerforce dual friction in my 1.6,,,it was about 250$us
