Good afternoon,
I'm Patrick from the Netherlands, my excuse if my English isn't verry good...
I'm building a, AFN M-TDI in my Caddy MK1.
I have a small problem running my VNT 15 turbo on this engine; i'm searching for a VNT controller.
Is it possible to make the VNT 'boost controlled' ?
I've seen a boost controlled turbo on a 2.8 AGK Engine!?
Is there anybody who can give me a good idea how to make my VNT work?
I hope you people understand my problem and can help me fix it :)

There's two ways to do this: (1) electronic control, usually using boost pressure to move the vanes, and (2) a mechanical linkage to impart the boost pressure to move the vanes. Here's my system using method (2).
This is a fully mechanical VNT vane control system that is entirely based on libbydiesel's design and fabrication from a few years ago (actually, he provided me my stock vacuum actuator modified to operate on boost pressure by flipping the internals. He also selected a new spring with characteristics so that it linearly opens the vanes from closed to fully open at approximately 20 psi). I built the rest. Almost all parts are from McMaster-Carr.
Heim joints and threaded rod ends make it completely adjustable. I built it stout so it doesn't bind or bend. I had to change my AWIC location to a slightly more distant location, but still has no lag.
A short video and four photos of the system are on photobucket:
