I have a MK2 1.6D converted over to turbo with a GTB1756VK and my clutch is toast. All I can get locally is the 210mm clutch kit but I can't source a flywheel.
Can I have the flywheel machined so it will accept the 210mm disk and pressure plate?
-
I gave up trying to buy parts locally a decade ago.
-
I have no options unless I want to pay a grand on importing between shipping and custom duties so I have to do with what I have.
-
where do you live? lw flywheel is only 150

Not mine or anyone i know:

You might need to file-in the timing mark.

That seller doesn't ship to South America, which is where I have my MK2 :(

I would buy one and ship one to you for 10.00 over cost if you need it that bad. $$$ up front of course

wow i would think with so many vw's in south america that it would be easy to get these parts down there.
