Title: FS: Stock 1.6TD pistons $50CAD; Set of 4 injectors $40.

Stock 1.6TD pistons. Very likely replacements as the bores we significantly worn but the pistons are in good shape. All we measured within .0003 to .0008 under nominal. No noticeable wear on the skirts. Comes with writs pins and clips.

Complete set of 4 injectors pulled from working car. $40. Second set of 3 good injectors and 1 with damaged threads for a core charge set $20.

Got a price?   I have the potential need coming up for new pistons in the standard 1.6 N/A.   Might look at these if swapable.  Anyone know off the top of their head or do I just need to go do the homework?

You can use the TD pistons in a non-turbo 1.6 engine without any issue/modification.  You cannot use the non-turbo pistons in a turbo engine, though.

Thanks Libby,  Kinda what I thought, Will be tearing head off the Rabbit looking for things that go clank tomorrow.   I wasn't sure of stroke and bore between the two engines.  Saved me having to look it up.

Spent time looking at the new Electric Golf and thinking retirement gift to self.

I am hopeful that the damage to the pistons I saw will not adversely affect the performance of the engine.  I am just going to try running it with a new, thinner HG and I will test some injectors too.  Thanks for the price update.
