Title: Chevy Apprentice - how NOT to run an ad campaign
Post by: bhtooefr on April 08, 2006, 09:31:25 pm
Chevy decided to cheap out on Tahoe advertising.

So, they had the general public do a contest (http://chevyapprentice.com) to make a Tahoe commercial.

It backfired (http://alaskaaction.net/tahoe).

Here's mine: http://alaskaaction.net/tahoe/?p=60

Oh, and vote for me, m'kay?

16/22 for the RWD version.

And that's EPA estimates. Inflated EPA estimates in this case. That 22 highway is dependent on the V8-6-umm, I mean Displacement on Demand system working, and the thing being driven properly to use it.

Funny...Yours is one of only 2 I believe that have 5 stars. Good job.

Ive got a bet somewhere that GM will file bankruptcy within 5 years.
