Title: FS: 1.6 TD disassembled
Post by: 96_yota on October 30, 2015, 06:29:47 am: Looking to sell the engine I picked up a few months ago for a toyota pickup build. The engine is a CY turbo engine but it may be from oversees as its a hydro block/head. I was told it was pulled from a 1985 passat but from the date code on the rod bearing the engine is a 1987. The engine has had 76.98mm pistons installed during a rebuild at some point, I was going to have it measured to see if they could be reused or if it would need to be take to the largest oversize bore. The head has small cracks between the cylinders, and has two prechambers with small cracks.

Its missing the intake manifold and accessories, but other then that stuff I believe everything else is there. You can see pics of condition of the bearings and pistons in my thread here.
