Title: 82 Rabbit Wiring Question.. WTH is this wire?

I have an 82 Rabbit here, engine is out.
The harness is unmolested.  I am trying to figure out where this black w grey stripe wire went??

Bentley says to the W terminal on the alternator then to black 10/6.  On the same side of the connector it branches off to the upshift control unit, and the other side of the connector supposedly turns to red/black to the oil pressure unit..

However I know for a fact that didn't connect to the w terminal.  This one did...

So what am I missing here?  Thanks in advance!!

Never mind.  After chasing my tail a few days I realize that when someone deleted the ac they plugged the ac compressor wire to the w terminal.
