Title: How to adjust headlights
Post by: nissannx on March 05, 2015, 03:48:47 am
92 jetta na

Is there a walk through or guide on setting the headlights to factory spec?

What are some options on brighter headlights? Was there a stock fog light option?

I think the GLI had fogs. If not, the GTI did.

1st before you adjust headlights, lube screws w/like pb, dont strip screws when you adjust, use a good grip on screwdriver(make sure screws arent rusted), to adjust is rather simple, get on a flat surface, with a wall, something light, like white is good, reflects the light, align straight, as you drive down a dark road on a level surface look down lights and adjust till your satisfied. i stagger my setting. dont have it where people at night are flashing hibeams at you, you have lows too high. there are a # of options as far as lights these days. and some good brands out there. i had good luck with cibie before. i have affordable wagner now, theyre bright enough.
