Post by: tuckers_01 on February 27, 2015, 10:45:33 am
i have golf mk4 gttdi AHF 110 non pd... every 3-4 days the coolant goes from max to warning light inside... there is no oil in coolant and from what i can see there is not throth either... there is no coolant coming from exhaust and no leak on engine atall... mine car does not have egr cooler so cant be going there and also no excessive smoke from the back... only what youd expect from a diesel. water pump and timing belt replaced 4 months ago.by a vw specialist. any ideas you guys?

If it's not ending up in the oil pan and not ending up on the ground then it's going through the tailpipe.  Well either that or leaking out of the heater core...

Wet carpets by any chance?

we ve seen a few people not spotting a leak on the ground at first, only to trace all connections and look for the leak,,
