Title: Feeler: New TD Kolbenschmidts in 20 and 40 over
Post by: myke_w on March 30, 2006, 12:48:34 pm
Is there any interest in sets TD Original German Kolbenschmidt pistons in .020 aka .50mm oversize? I think I can get a pretty good deal on them if I buy enough sets, and god knows with old TD's thier bores pretty badly.
Reply to this post if you'd like a set for say under 300 shipped with rings and pins?

ps. I think the .040 oversizes are about 10 bucks per slug more.

That's a good price for OEM stuff.I can get aftermarket stuff cheaper, but they are not as good IMHO.

I may be interested in some.

depending on how cheap I can get them (how many I buy) in bulk the price will be between $270 and $285 shipped for 77.00mm .50mm (.020") and 290-310 per set shipped for 77.50mm 1.0mm (.040")

(autohausaz, a place someone in another forum mentioned as a cheap source for TD Kolby's) does not have 77.50mm 1.0mm (.040") and I have never seen them cheaper than 350 a set anywhere, so for 40 over, this is a hell of a deal.
Anyway, that's the skinny on it
