Title: intercooler setup

I've been trying to figure out how I'll do my intercooler setup.
Would there be any reason not to do an intercool that sits against the hood and draws air through a hood scoop - other than looks?
It seems it would be easier to plumb and mount.

not as effecient a method of cooling as a simple front mount...

will heatsoak sitting on top of the engine...

you'll have to cut a silly hole in your hood ;)
