Title: ASF, AON, ACN, ACL (8v) bolt to my 1.6l diesel?

just that simple would a ASF, AON, ACN, ACL (8v) tranny bolt to my diesel?

They will bolt.

The ratios are different.

bolt yes... but clutch/pressureplate/flywheel are needed too, the shaft is thicker and has more splines on it.

And the drivesaxles have 100mm CV joints instead of the 90mm, so you need those too.

yes I know I want a longer geared tranny. clutch/flywheel are no big deal

both sites that I have seen are conflicting saying that a ACN and ASF are 90mm and 100mm (different years I guess)

does a 100mm use the same outer knuckle or would I need those as well off of a car.

All you have to worry about is the flange size,the outer ends are the same.

It's not hard to swap flanges if you need to.

I've got two ACN's. One's a 100mm and the other's a 90mm. Go figure.
