Title: 1994 jetta diesel operating temperature
Post by: spock on March 26, 2006, 10:19:37 am
Hi all I have a 1994 diesel and I was wondering what the normal operating temperature is. Also at what temp should the fan kick on?

One last Question, does anybody know how to get out of safe mode on your stereo if you do not have the manual?

Thanks
Chris

Press scan AND mode in same time and hold 5 seconds. You will see 5 or 6 zeros appear. Then you need the code. The first one is always 0. (use the number 1 for the fisrt number, 2 for second, etc)

You can have the code at your dealer but $$$

When the code is entered, press scan and mode 5s again.  The music will play.
