Title: 1.6TD exhaust manifold question

Simple question here. what type of flange is on the 1.6TD exhaust manifold.

People refer the Garrett as a T3 but is it really a T3 flange ?

No, it isn't a T3 flange. The bolts are arranged in a trapezoid pattern. The T3 bolt pattern is rectangular. I have a 1.6TD manifold lying around, and a couple of T3 turbo's if you want exact measurements. I don't think the VW manifold is any "standard" flange.
