Title: 1Z vs AHU oil filter housing
Post by: Smoker on August 23, 2014, 02:47:14 pm
I'm putting my ahu back together with a 1Z block that I had sitting in the corner.  My issue is the banjo bolt is not the same size as the threads in the filter housing on the 1Z block... has anyone run into this before?  Just drill and tap the housing to the right size?  I think I scrapped the old ahu block with the housing still on it.  ::)

I have an ahu housing I don't need because I am using an angled one. It's yours if you want it. You will need to use the nipple off yours though, the thing that goes through the oil cooler and the filter screws on to. I had a remote filter kit mounted on it so I removed it and put a shorter one in it's place. Let me know if you want it, if you want it, I can send it if you just cover shipping.
