Title: switches on 83 Rabbit pickup injection pump?

what are the switches at the the throttle? No air, no cruise, manual trans.

They control the upshift light I believe.  Basically any time the RPMs are over a set point and it isn't at WOT or idle it'll turn a light on to tell you to shift up.

Ah the wonderful things they decided we needed in the '80s...
