I still haven't found an ecm for a AHU motor, if you have a good one for sale, for a reasonable price, please let me know.thx
I don't know if Canadian or Californian part will do as im on the east coast and emissions may be different.

I don't think my motor was an AHU, but I think it was a 1Z.  If someone can tell you that they are the same I'd have one for sale, cheap.  $40.00 CAD +shipping and it's yours, if they are same units. 

This was out of a 97 passat. Was running in April till I removed the motor for another car.

I have a ahu JB code ecu with a rocketchip RC3 tune in it for $350 shipped.

i have a JB code ECU stock actually it NEW -  i bought it thinking mine was bad to test and it wasnt my ECU was wiring too my ECU.

$200 plus shipping.
