Title: wtb: Tranny for 1.6D

as the title states i need a tranny. is a 1.6D but i am planning on going TD. would prefer a five speed but and open(ish) to a four. i'm located in northern california and am opening to shipping if the seller is but i would rather not if someone within a days drive has one. so please let know thanks

There are some clean 020 and ctn models at the German  engine broker on ebay

I will be going to sacramento in a couples of weeks to pickup a mk1 jetta coupe I purchased or, use fed ex ground

I have three diesel 5 speed transmissions. 

One has code FN

Two have code FF.

Ive ran all three and had no issues.

I'm in Portland.
