Post by: GEE-BEE on June 12, 2014, 04:46:33 pm
I purchased a 4 hole boat trailer spare tire holder to relocate the battery under the bed.

35.99

The stock mount would not allow me to place the tire anywhere except for center as I wanted a offset mount .

I purchased a Honda alloy spare tire assy 4 x 100 x 15 '( super light )
125.00 , ebay find

I purchsed a group 34 Optima CNC battery holder from Artec, this will allow the battery to side load and I have four post now.
147.50 shipped

battery holder 65.00

I will run a 1/0 cable thru the cab to a BMW remote battery Pos box  and remote positive terminal where the old battery sits
term box and remote postive was 35.00 on ebay for both items

Iam welding these two items under the bed supports
