what I don't see, and would like to see is a sticky on parts, etc. I mean for run-of-the-mill parts I can start out with rock auto(usually I don't), they have some parts, some are good, then I can go to autohauz, then maybe parts place, there are also some other listings I can find for parts and more.
I have seen some posts with listings for businesses, but they have disappeared,
so im looking for a couple of obscure parts for my mk2.
pt#: 191121093a also;068130442a & 068130431a. the 1st is the plastic bracket for upper radiator hose, the 2nd (2)are injection rubber hold down/anti-rattle, 1+2that go into the clamps we all know, but not including the whole clamp, just the rubber, also; for fuel line from fuel filter to inlet of injection pump that adaptor that goes between fuel line and inj pump inlet.

1stvwparts.com is great for all the dealer-specific stuff like that.

getvwparts.com might be quicker for him in philly.
prices are about the same, just an east-coast dealer instead of a west-coast dealer.

MJM seems to be dropping the ball a lot lately, fwiw.

Don't forget about mk1autohaus on ebay! Great source, especially for some NLA stuff.
busdepot also has some obscure stuff.
-
MK1 autohaus should be on the list too... They have a website now http://www.mk1autohaus.com/ (http://www.mk1autohaus.com/) with the same things but for some reason I can't find a listing for mk2 parts on their website even though they have quite a few parts for the mk2 Golf/Jetta, Scirocco, Corrado, etc.
