I just finished resealing this pump and I tested it on my 86 Jetta TD. I set it up as close to stock as I could. I might be a little low on the fueling, but that's because I like no smoke. It's easy to turn up if you desire. I did the governor mod while I had everything apart. I also had new driveshaft bushings installed. Internal pump pressure is set to 40psi at about 1000 RPMs. I don't have a tach so I was going by ear.
The pump drives very well and would be an excellent upgrade for an eco diesel or to replace your leaky pump.
