Hi guys
my pump has started to leak. the leak is on the side of the LDA, from the atmosphere bleed valve i suppose. its the small valve next to the adjustment screw, the valve that has a rubber cover on it.
what do i do to fix it?????
-
There is a little seal inside the lda where the lda pin is. Thats what is leaking, need to fix that seal.
-
You have to take the top off your pump and then take the whole top part (LDA) apart. It's not the easiest seal to get to. Make sure you know what you are doing before you take the top off. There are lots of settings that you can easily mess up if you don't record them all first!

I thonk libby made a how to once upon a time.

If you've got the pump with ball bearings instead of screwheads then it can be a pain in the arse to do that seal.
-
The ball bearings are no big deal.
-
They're not a big deal, but they are a pain compared to nice screws.. lol

My biggest concern with the ball bearings is that they dont seal when reinserting them?

I've r+r'd many of them and never had one leak. If you are concerned, then it is also fairly easy to tap the holes to NPT and add the socket head plugs.
