Looking for the biggest battery that fits. My car came with a small battery and looking for the largest that fits for this cold Canadian climate!

Autozone has a line of AGM battery made by Johnson Controls that has developed a good reputation for price/ performance. The Optima has deteriorated in quality in recent years from what I've read. Don't know if that's true or not.

I've had a couple optima red top one in my old truck didn't last at all, 2-3 years another in my '69 bug has been great for 5+ years. I live in a warmish temperate climate and don't really need huge cranking power though.

I'd measure your battery and go to costco and buy the biggest, highest output unit that you can fit, if it doesn't quite fit you can return it easily and get a different one.

Around here most of the batteries at the Costco were OLD when I went to look. Dusty and year old fill dates. No thanks.
