im gettin ticked off withmy pump,,,,i may/probably will send it to him,,im gettin tired of trying to get the revs to stop "hanging" when i rev it over 3000,when the intermediate spring is shimmed up,,it goes way fast,but its annoying,,and iknow giles builds good stuff

After seeing this post, I am confused...

What is the Bosch part number for a 1.6TD pump? A 1.9TD pump?

Since he doesn't use the VW part numbers.

Sauls pumps are Cummins pump cores as per the above post...he may have a few actual VW units around but I doubt it. He deals with truck diesels, etc.

heres the numbers off of  my 4b CUMMINS pump,i do remember seeing a date code,maybe in the top   of the  housing when i took it off,, and it was late 80's.... i remember that,well here are the numbers:
