I wouldn't put synthetic in my 30 plus year old car at this point in time.  Maybe a newer one.  But not my 81.

Our local Mart finally got in a shipment of 15W 40 and had it on sale.  Been gone all summer.  Good thing I am not driving miles like I use to.

All my diesels get synthetic, and so does my snowblower.

Maybe I could get away with synth now.  I run about 100 psi on the oil gauge until it warms up and I don't have any leaks.  Other than the slow one on the oil pan.  But a new gasket would cure that quickly.

What are your oil change intervals to those running synth?
