Could you kindly explain how can I service the old one. Mine is stuck open.

problem is it was very rusty and I had it rebuilt abd the interface where it bolts to turbo is pretty eroded that it may not seal good.

It will seal fine. It drops down in and has a sealing washer. Plus carbon soot will plug it off if it wouldn't seal. The issue will be getting it free and working. Most have had success but some don't.

I sliced slots around the canister with a zip disc, pried the canister off, reamed out the bore slightly and polished the wastegate stem. Then re-crimped the canister back on. Works good as new. It is not meant to be serviced but can be done for free.
