Title: Upgraded Mk4 shifter bushings...
Post by: bbob203 on July 25, 2013, 10:47:27 am
I have the late mk4/audi short shifter assembly installed to my B3 and it was a vast improvement over the stock 02a stuff. In my opinion there is no other option if i do another swap like this. The shift is great but could be better so i picked up a set of the 42 draft design shifter bushings http://www.42draftdesigns.com/categories/products/shifterbushings.html (http://www.42draftdesigns.com/categories/products/shifterbushings.html). Im also looking to get these http://www.verdictmotorsports.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=0100. Does anyone else have either of these fitted on their Mk4? Is there anything more i can do to further improve the feel of my shifting?

Installed both 42dd bushings and verdict motorsports bushings and wow the improvement is AWESOME! Very positive feel extremely smooth and concise absolutely no downside to these bushings no annoying vibration is transferred into the car.. The $60 i have into this stuff was well worth it as this stuff will never wear out.
