Title: wtb. vanagon diesel thermostat housing cooling flange. fair price.

I fixed the head in my vanagon and now the cooling flange is leaking,it has a hair crack but that is enough to leak.anybody knows if the
jetta diesel cooling flange woul fit the vanagon diesel?

I think the only exception to the I 4 VW engines from 1980-1998 for the thermostat cover were Foxes. Should be the same as all the others. I'm assuming you have a 1.6 or 1.9 diesel and not a flat gasser !!

Vanagon style is different from most.  Jetta/Golf/Rabbit angle straight off the water pump and will run into the pass side mounting bracket.  I think Quantums may be the same as the vanagon.  The vanagon one angles away from the block @ a 45°.  I have one.

he spoke.. said same thing i think too.. so ill 2nd it... go look/ask gizz on his aaz build he just worked on getting in a vanagon.. bet his pics will show..
