Title: crome trim on the bottem side of my caddy at rocker pannel

i took the trim off 3 years ago now it is time to put back on , but i do not remember if the wide side goes up or down  if you have a caddy you know what i am talking about , any help/

My 82 caddy LX has the trim with the widest part on the bottom. At the front, near the front wheel well, there is a diagonal cut from left to right (looking at the trim on the right side of the caddy). HTH.
