The euro car company?
-
The name SEAT, previously standing for the acronym Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo
Probably SAY-at. I don't speak Spanish, but the French would pronounce it that way.
-
"Say-it" is how I was told.
-
i always thought it was pronounced see-ott. i could be wrong tho. wheres the euro people when you need them?
-
It's SAY-aht. Every Mexican I've heard and also my friend from Spain, who owned several of them, pronounces it that way.
-
I agree basically with baja and my spanish is pretty decent. I've always just said seat like SEET but I never really thought about it being a Spanish company and english is my first language, I also don't use a bad german accent to say volkswagen.
