Hey everyone
Scrambling to get my 1982 audi 4000 with 1.6 na going.. gotta take it for a long drive next weekend.
I picked up a spare motor and injection pump in proper working order, and was hoping to use the pump that came with it, while I sent mine out to giles to get worked on.
Question is are they the same??
Stock Audi one is
068 130 107 k
and the vw one is
068 130 107 ad
Any help is appreciated! I cant seem to find any info online
Thanks

If the throttle cable and stop solenoid hook up, it will work fine unless it has a different type of cam gear.

The bosch numbers on the pumps might give a clue. Pictures could also help reveal differences.
You can measure the camplate curves on them fairly easily, without taking them apart : http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=33196.msg309999#msg309999

Well, I can't find any more info (clearly it's a 9mm plunger and a four port), but if there aren't any differences externally, I'd run it just the same.
