How do the circled ends plug together?
Is there a larger hose that slips over them both with hose clamps
as ETK alludes to?

Background: Trying to emulate the "correct" factory crankcase vent setup on my
un-turbo'd AAZ, 1Y fashion. It looks like there have been several versions of this setup,
some of them using a separate flange on the block the hose pressed/clipped into, near as
I can tell the later one is the one piece two bolt affair. Yes, I know I can tap the blockoff plate
for a fitting and use a hose but it's unattractive and the factory parts are cheap enough.
With any luck the upper end will plug into the 1Y intake I'll eventually hunt down.
Also of note, I have next to zero oil usage and no oil entry into the intake beyond normal,
this is just sorta for the hell of it. :)

The hose and clamps seems to be a reasonable method. That is what comes to my mind for proper joining of the parts. Could be done with nice piece of colored hose with no clamps if the hose is tight enough. Might look better than simple black with silver clamps. Maybe some blue or red clamp blingage?

You are correct, there is a larger diameter section of hose that acts as a connector, IIRC it has a perma-clamp on it, similar to a CV boot clamp.

That's what ETKA shows. Very good, thanks guys.
If anyone would happen to know if the aftermarket ones are junk I'd be interested. I can order two for what a good dealer one is. Ditto the puck.
