Title: WTB: fuel filter for VW rabbit
Post by: zyewdall on March 06, 2006, 01:10:15 pm
So, I need a fuel filter (not the actual filter, but the part that it screws onto with the fuel lines coming out) for my rabbit.  I converted it from gas so I don't have the proper filter, and there's seems to be a real dearth of diesel VW's in the junkyards here.  Right now I've got an aftermarket fuel filter for a truck on there, but I want to switch that to the veggie oil system, and put in a stock diesel filter setup for the diesel tank.  Anyone got one sitting around that they could send.   How's $5 plus shipping for an offer?

BTW, it's an MK2 GTI

I don't get up to the Republic  of Boulder much Ha, Ha !, but there are several Diesel VW's at the Pull N' Save in Denver I forget the correct address but it is west of Peoria St. on 33rd Ave. one is a caddy the other a 4 DR rabbit. It is a $1.00 admission charge and if you watch the sale ads, usually in the American Classifieds, there are some good deals.
