Title: best place to get a fuel filter...
Post by: Vohaul on April 04, 2013, 08:58:23 am
my fuel filter is starting to tell me its time for a change (wont idle once in a while, along with no power...) a quick run at highway speeds usually clears it up..but its happened a few times in the last few weeks now)

last time i got one from a local parts place, cost me $100 cdn....ugh..

wheres the best place either online or in the calgary area to pick one up for a decent price....

Thanks

Paul

Oooooh! Get some ice on that!! BRUTAL, They cost probably $2.50 to make, and that is complete B.S.

I am assuming it is for your 93 AAZ?

I also live in Canada.. and if it is a big order I ALWAYS use www.autopartsway.ca They are in Canada and offer free shipping over whaever set price, and sometimes give damn good deals at random,

But here is a Bosch filter for $30..

Brutal is right.

Can you switch over to the MkI filter?  $12 is better.  You would need to get a MkI flange....

NAPA filter sale is a great time to stock up on MK1 filters.

they are cheaper at the Import shops up here in portland, than at NAPA..

Discount Import Parts, and Halsey Automotive both have AMAZING deals on fuel filters.. think it was $7 last time i bought one..

the Racor element, they are ALL expensive sadly, but they last a REALLY LONG TIME, running them like i do..
