Alright so I have my pin swapping charts done and I would like a sanity check just to make sure the car will start once im done swapping everything over. All US wiring has been acquired from http://www.autolib.diakom.ru/CAR/Volkswagen/1987/Golf/WIRING%20DIAGRAMS/ and all ce2 info comes from http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE2.html

for a mk2 golf?? id go find later 89-92 and just swap it all.. easier then splicing... but engine so on helps.. no cluewhat your trying to do or what too...

nah ill stick with my traditional westy, Im in the process of building a monster tdi, I will swap the car to ce2 and once the engine is built i will swap the mk4 wiring harness to the CE2 system. No splicing here, pin swapping all the way. The diagrams above are the wires needed to swap the current engine and instrument panel into the CE2 fusebox.
