Title: Colt cams stage 2 and 3
Post by: 410 on March 21, 2013, 08:03:39 pm
Well, looks like I have two new cams coming my way.  A stage 2 and a stage 3.  Does anyone have experience with the stage 2 and stage 3 cams?  Man I am absolutely stoked.  Can't wait to get my hands on them.  One of the cars that's getting one is a pretty much stock ALH with sprint 520 nozzles and the other engine which is still on the bench will have some minor mods like a gt1756 turbo, mildly ported head, and other breathing mods.  I'm looking forward to the difference these cams actually make.

Eagerly watching this thread...

I'm thinking of the stage 2 cam for my build. Have you done any head work?

I have done some head work to the engine on the bench.  It's a pretty mild porting job but now that I have cams coming I might pull it down again and go a little further with it.  I have some pictures that I'll load up on photobucket tonight so I can post them.

I don't have any feedback but I am seriously considering a stage 3 Colt for my BRM.
