Title: Mk1 Rabbit vs Jetta interchangeable parts?
Post by: homerj1 on February 08, 2013, 02:18:00 pm
Are the chassis - drivetrain, suspension and brakes parts interchangeable between the mk1 jetta & mk1 rabbit model years?

I assume the above is interchangable?

rear brakes you gotta pay attention too at this date/time.. mk3 all went to 200mm, caddy had 200mm from get go.. too easy to convert to bigger rear drums.. besides that.. yep reast works except caddy seats back..

For the most part yes,  they're are minor differences especially with the braking system the master cylinder and pro portioning valves are different, but they are swappable just if do swap master cylinders u gotta swap everything
