Title: Did a 1992 aaz passat come with a cat?

What about a 1992 jetta na? Where they made with cat's in that year? Trying to figure out wether or not i have to run a cat in my b3 diesel swap to pass emmissions.

cat = eco = usa only... na did not have.. canada did not have...

not entirely true, i know that in europe germany to be specific, even some of the mk1 diesels had cats.  but in america no cat on a jetta for 92.

my ex- 1991 aaz passat had a cat. it was imported from Holand. same car, same year in France did not have a cat

All AAZs in Canada came with a cat, regardless of what vehicle they were in.

Yes. My 93 Passat AAZ had one. Local BC car.
