Title: 91 Eco diesel injector question
Post by: DAKOTAKIDD on December 31, 2012, 12:50:13 am
Hey guys,  while looking into my turbo whine today, I noticed the farthest injector to the right (pass side), the one that has the little rubber cap on it instead of the black braided return line is leaking fuel.  I need to replace it but where can I get one?  Can I use something else instead?

Let me know when you have a chance

Cheers

$10 at VW, or a shred of hose with a nail clamped in one end.

Some guys replace the cap with a line and tee that line into another one of the injector returns.

You could try the vacuum caps Dorman makes. Grab one off a gasser in the JY.

Sure ill take it. How much u want for it?   Let me know. I also checked that injector line and it's loose.  That may have caused it as well.  Ill know more in a couple days when I drive it again

Happy new year.

I'll let you have it for nothing, I don't think they cost much at all. Let me make sure I can find it though.
