I have this factory oil pan skid plate from my 1978 - I think this was for a 4 quart oil pan.
I have seen these sell for over $100 on the vortex but will take offers + shipping. I don`t need or want it around anymore. It has been rattle canned black and has a few deep scratches but absolutely no rust or rot.

For those that live where the Jack Rabbits are numerous or the squirrels are particularly large? More lift need for brush busters.

lol yeah i`ve had my rabbits miles in the fire roads all around Southern Oregon with that thing installed, i`m sure it saved me from a James Kim disaster or two.

It may be that you know the roads, the weather and the fact that you can't get there from here that saved you from a similar fate. I feel bad for people that blindly follow their GPS because it says so. A line on the map means nothing when there is 2 foot of snow piling up in front of the car and you are on a road that continues to gain in elevation. Common Sense isn't so common after all.

Somehow I still have this for sale after watching them come and go on vortex over the past couple of years. Best offer takes it!

Did you post it on vortex? I'm sure someone who is static low would love it.

I bet you could drop it down the half inch or so using some metal spacers. I considered doing this on mine, but really I should have kept the shallower oil pan anyway.

it needs re-shaped..
a TD pan has a FLAT bottom..
a early n/a pan has a bubble basically, and is not even close to flat..

I remember back in 2004 or so I guess, my VW dealer guy said there were something like three of them left new on earth.
I still want one, but I'm always broke when they pop up. Every damn Rabbit I've ever seen original has a dented oil pan somehow.

I sold it to a guy, but if I find out that it doesnt work for him i`ll let you know & maybe you can buy it.
