Title: Delivery valves differences
Post by: bbob203 on December 06, 2012, 07:26:05 am

I was swapping delivery valves between an eco pump and a td pump so I could use the td pump with my injector lines and I noticed a difference of the internal valve between the two and wondered if maybe one flowed more or differently that the other. The 3 sided one came from the eco pump with long delivery valves ,the 4 sided from short td delivery valves. I'm wonsering if I could run the 4 sided ones in the td pump with the long delivery valves and not have to worry about the breaking pressure being different and having to change the adjusting shims???

I think you could change the end part of the delivery valves as long as you switch all four, but I don't believe that any of the designs of the delivery valves are the limiting factor WRT flow and so you won't gain anything.
