Its chain drive  below the stock one...
You can see the injector lines are T'ed in the vid, but here's a  pic.

Double stock pumps, no breakey  drive shaft at high RPM, well not the pump drive one anyway.

holy shizzz...

you in theory have 2x fueling with 2 pumps, at the same RPMs, right?

wouldnt it be pretty important to have both pumps tuned IDENTICAL?!

That's nuts. I've never seen anything like that with a VE pump. Anybody know where we could find more info on that one?

All that smoke shouts that it doesn't burn too well. Drilling and tapping an extra injector into each of those combustion chambers must have been bit of a chore. What is the horsepower limit of a single VE pump? 25kw per pot? x4 pots, x1.34102209 for horsepower, gives 134 horses. Okay I see why they might try this. Heath Robinson and Rube Goldberg would be proud. ;D

I don't think the timing  really does have to be spot-on, plenty of OEMs  use split shot injection.

There is no extra injector, just a T in the delivery pipe, and  delivery valves keep anything from  going the wrong way.
It also lets you get a ton of fuel without a big heavy  plunger that doesn't like High  RPM,  and a nice gentle camplate that won't skip as easy.
Makes sense, but seems like a lot of work  to get right.

Added bonus, limp home if a pump fails.

That was as much exhaust as everyone on the forum makes in one year.

If my Swedish translator is right, it makes over 350HP.  Maybe not too surprising it's a bit cold blooded?.

The VW one had two sets of injectors.

So it does, must be a long tunnel to the combustion chamber.
Here's a twin pump 6.5 setup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwFWNReCmck
