Don't need torque to snap cv's.. just need a ripped boot and some dirt ;). I've done it. Twice. Both on a N/A motor.

ive driven soo many miles on a bad CV axle, that the outter CV joint was almost completely seized up..

(yes, it WAS possible, the axle is pretty well parallel to the road surface)

almost didnt make it home one night.. car wouldnt turn very well..

Roburritos is awesome, my band plays york a lot. I have many bottles of peach warrior and pearl harbor from there.

The DESTROYED outer was from the top ball joint pinchbolt had snappef, causeing the ball joint and control arm to pop out and it brought the axle with it. I did this a block away from my house as well.
