They were stamped with VW and MIM....I want some I believe

Well yeah, but I don't have a shot in the dark on the car, so I would settle for the rims. Look like the Iron Cross with VW logos every 90 degrees

These look eerily reminiscent of something that would have been made in Germany about 75 years ago...
