I want to delete my intercooler in the stock mk2 gtd i have, will use the aaz elbow from the intake to the turbo, will i smoke more or just the power will be the same? i think the boost levels are low enough for the stock gasket, but i want to be sure. Thanks!

You'll smoke more and you'll lose almost 20 horsepower.

Why on earth would you want to remove your intercooler??
You'll have less power and higher consumption, and you'll also stress the engine more.
-
i just gotta ask...
WHY?!
-
Sorry, but just like everyone is saying - your engine really likes cool air - very much.
Mine wanted it but I didn't listen so piston #4 melted itself all over the barrel ;D
If your's has a leak - it's worth fixing or replacing it. That's the only reason I can think of that would bring you to removing it.

it makes a BIG difference on my car to have the intercooler hooked up, and my engine flows much better than a stock mk2 TD..
deleting the intercooler WILL NOT allow you to have the same power.. like Andrew said, you will likely lose upwards of 20hp from removing it, as well as losing some fuel economy..
