Title: A3 golf Fuse
Post by: rodpaslow on August 17, 2012, 11:10:41 am
This is for people with a MK3 - I want to know what the fuse under the coolant reservoir that is under a clear glass is for?  I looked through the Bentley manual I have for it and I can't find any reference to it.  What's it for?

I have a pretty severe battery drain - less than 7 hours and it will hardly turn the car over.

Thanks,

i believe its the rad fan control module...

it is..

is the rear window defroster on? or not kicking off?

thats either a pretty good load, or a crappy battery to be dead in 7 hours..

my last mk1, the rear window heater would drain the batt if you left it on..

It turned out to be nothing with the car, but a bad battery that wasn't even a year old.  It's a big battery will just fit in the car, but I've never had one like this that crapped out.  Problem is going to be convincing where i bought that I want a replacement....
