I need a picture that clearly shows how the injection pump is mounted on a 1.6D or 1.6TD.
It's been so long since my car was all in one piece, and recently I have only ever seen 1.9s (which have different pump mounts as you know).
I need the info to mount my pump correctly and also to see if my custom pump will fit the stock mounts (it's longer than a VW pump).
Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks!
Anyone have pictures of the mounting parts behind that wide plate?

#14 it bolts to the block with two bolts, to the pump bracket/motor mount with two bolts and it is also the pumps back bracket support. The same for 1.5,1.6 and 1.9 IDI's.

Is the pump actually attached to the engine block at all, or is it only bolted to the thick bracket on the pulley side of the engine?

Can you see my picture? Can you read what I wrote? :D
The small bracket that is highlighted, #14. It attaches to the back of the pump, #24.
#14 then attaches to the block with two of #15. Two more of #15 attach bracket #14 to the pump bracket on the pulley side. of the pump, which is also the mk1 motor mount.

Hey, thank you so much!
I was in such a hurry last time round that I didn't even notice what you had written on top of the picture.... :)
This should make it easier for me, even though I remember that my car did have a somewhat different mounting system.
In any case - that you!
