Title: Is there supposed to be an oil feed to the oil pan for my 1.6td?

just wondering, because i don't see anything on the oil pan, and wondering if i got the wrong one.

should be a 90 elbow on pass side of oil pan on exhaust side of engine. if not you can put one there I think. don't know threading though.

That's the oil return. The feed is on the oil filter flange.

Those online parts people lie when they say they can get you a new TD pan. It's a NA pan. I fell for that one too :(

Well, the AAZ, AHU, 1Z and AFN turbo-diesel pans don't have any bung on them.

they are all block drain... no need for a pan drain when its got a block drain..

Yeah I understand why.  The 1.6TD pan needs the bung.  The 1.9s don't.  I was just saying that parts suppliers might be accurately calling an un-bunged pan a turbo-diesel pan.  Regardless, you need a bung for a 1.6TD.
