Title: Need help with Caddy sway bar install; got pix?
Post by: sparkoid on June 23, 2012, 11:20:31 pm
I bought an Autotech front swaybar for my 81 Caddy, along with aftermarket bushings and brackets.  The brackets seem a little flimsy to me compared to other stuff I've seen, and it's not clear how to mount this thing.  Anyone have pix of a Mk1 front swaybar installed???

too bad its not a 82... 81 the brake/fuel lines are in the way... the rerouted them in 82...

control arms have 2 hols if replaced... none if stock.. ends go there..

rear control arm u shape brackets are the body mount for swaybar... you will find the brake/fuel lines are behind the arms and the bushing area for the bar will hit them... in 82 they moved that to the front of the brace they follow...
